Review
This ramen shop uses an order-first system, where you place your order before being seated. One downside is that everyone is required to order at least one item, which felt a bit strict. During busy hours, there is also a 45-minute time limit. Water is self-serve, and since the shop is located in downtown Boston, the prices are higher and there are quite a few rules overall.
The ramen came out very quickly — in about five minutes. When I first sipped the broth, it wasn’t very hot, but the noodles were extremely hot. After mixing everything together, the temperature felt just right. The noodles were thick and different from typical ramen noodles, and I really enjoyed them. The broth wasn’t just a simple miso flavor; it had multiple layers of flavor and felt quite unique.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no meat in the bowl. What surprised me the most was that this shop serves completely vegan and gluten-free ramen, using tofu and vegetables instead of meat.
